Where can you buy artsy merchandise and take artsy classes?  At Banana Rose in Westlake Village, CA!  Opened in November 2011 by mother-daughter team Cory and Hannah Jakl, Banana Rose is a boutique gift shop featuring a wide variety of unique, artsy merchandise, all at great affordable prices.  Conveniently located at The Landing in Westlake Village, visitors to Banana Rose will find items like candles, jewelry, bath and body products, cards and more. Along with serving as a boutique shop, Banana Rose also operates as an Art Studio.  There is a room in the back of there store where art classes and other fun workshops are conducted. Some of the classes offered in the past include painting, drawing, music, Qi Gong, Feng Shui and more. The next art class at Banana Rose is The Wonderful World of Color, led by Gina Armfield.  This Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Westlake Village locals can learn all about watercolors.  Beginners and advanced artists are all welcome to participate in this fun, casual class and will receive lots of personal attention.
