Attention Garden Grove: Don’t Miss Jared Andrew Schorr at the WonderGround Gallery

Garden Grove, California residents are now just a hop, skip, and a jump away from a new, utterly unique art gallery.  On June 9, 2012, the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort opened the WonderGround Gallery.  A great addition to Downtown Disney®, the new Gallery features a variety of commissioned, original and limited-edition artwork in various styles, techniques and mediums. Drawing inspiration from Disney-Pixar films, characters and icons, as well as Mickey Mouse, more than 25 local and domestic up-and-coming artists created unique work for the WonderGround Gallery. Disney lovers and art lovers alike will be ecstatic to expand their collections with artwork featured at WonderGround Gallery. Now through September 1, 2012, the Artist in Residence at WonderGround Gallery is Jared Andrew Schorr, a Southern California illustrator.  His unique artwork is made from cut paper, and his work has been in many publications, including Good Wired, Bust, the New York Times, and the L.A. Times.  Schorr’s artwork can also be found in private collections around the world.  As the Artist in Residence at WonderGound Gallery, Schorr will be cutting paper in person on Fridays and Saturdays from 5- 9PM for the whole month of August.  Those in the area won’t want to miss watching Schorr cut paper, asking him questions, or just chatting with him.  In the words of Schorr, “It's going to be amazing.” Check out Schorr’s blog and his website for more information about his unique artwork.  If you purchase any artwork at WonderGround Gallery, the AIM Mail Center in Garden Grove can help with art shipping and packaging needs – across town or across the country.
