Celebrate Earth Day With Some Green Art!

Today is Earth Day, a chance to reflect on our current habits and consider opportunities to integrate green practices into our daily lives.  In Mission Viejo, CA one couple took their passion for art and the environment and created a unique art gallery, GreenLife Gallery, a unique collaboration of artists who create eco-art.  Artists Pam and Chris Wagoner started the gallery with the goal of offering the community artwork that is environmentally and socially responsible.

All available artwork is handmade in the United States and created from organic, reclaimed, recycled, salvaged or other renewable materials. Transforming “trash” like chopsticks, CDs, bottles, reclaimed wood, and more into truly unique pieces of artwork, the artists create sculptures, wall art, and functional art that Mission Viejo locals can be proud to have in their homes and businesses.  It is truly amazing to see how something many people would simply throw away can become exquisite artwork.

There are a couple of different ways to check out the unique artwork from GreenLife Gallery.  Artwork is available for purchase through the gallery’s website, and the GreenLife Facebook page stays current with images of available work.  In addition, GreenLife participates in many events in the Mission Viejo community; check out the website for a list of upcoming events, and make sure to stop by to meet the artists and see the amazing artwork in person.

If you make a purchase from GreenLife Gallery that you decide is perfect for an out-of-town friend or family member, stop by the AIM Mail Center in Mission Viejo for help with safely packing and shipping your gifts.  The friendly professionals at AIM Mail Center can professionally pack your items and compare shipping rates between FedEx and UPS to find the best rate and service for shipping your artwork.
