Established in June, 2008 by Lisa Nichols, a retired teacher and avid reader, As the Page Turns is Greenville, South Carolina's newest independent bookstore. Located between Greenville and Travelers Rest, South Carolina, As the Page Turns offers customers a beautiful view of Paris Mountain and a fabulous assortment of new and used books. With an inventory that includes bestsellers, books by regional authors, teaching materials, and more, locals and visitors are certain to find what they’re looking for. And if not, As the Page Turns will special order any book.
Along with a large selection of books for sale, As the Page Turns has free books. On most days, there is a cart of books out in front of the store which customers can browse through and take what they want. Customers can also trade in any used paperback or hardback books that are in good condition for store credit, and the credit can be used for up to half of any used book or used audio book purchase.
Besides books in every possible genre, customers can expect an eclectic selection of greeting cards, sticky notes, bookmarks, handcrafted items, gift items, and more.
