For locals and visitors to Broomfield, Colorado, there is still time to visit the Paletteers Art Show in the Broomfield Auditorium Gallery.  This non-juried art show features 27 works of art from 16 members of the Paletteers Art Club.  The theme of this year’s art show is, “People, Places and Things,” and artwork subjects range from landscapes and still-life to abstract and fantasy.  There is contact information on each of the pieces for those interested in making a purchase. The Broomfield Auditorium Gallery is located in the lobby of the Broomfield Auditorium, which shares a building with Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library.  With a lack of venues for local artists to display their work, the Auditorium Gallery provides a great space for local visual arts organizations to gain some exposure.  The Auditorium Gallery has hosted shows for the Paletteers Art Club about every other year for the past 10 years. The artwork will be on display through August 2, 2012. Visitors can view the artwork during all scheduled Auditorium events and on Thursdays from 2PM - 6PM; Fridays from 2Pm - 5PM; and Sundays from 1PM - 5 PM.
