Enjoy Wine, Art, Food and Music? Then the 40th Annual Art in the Vineyard Is For You!

With a thriving artistic culture, Livermore, California has a variety of organizations devoted to art, including a symphony orchestra, an opera company, several dance companies, visual art associations, and more.  Along with the artistic culture, Livermore has the distinction of being one of California’s oldest wine growing regions.  C. H Wente founded one of the first wineries in the valley, making Wente Vineyards the country’s oldest, continuously operated family-owned winery.  The vineyard offers a variety of events and activities, including wine tasting, fine dining, golfing, concerts, and artist receptions. On Sunday, May 27, 2012, locals and visitors can experience the great art, beautiful scenery, and fine wine that Livermore and Wente Vineyards has to offer.  From 11am to 5pm, The Livermore Art Association is hosting the 40^th Annual Art in the Vineyard at Wente Vineyards.  Participants get to enjoy the works of 35 talented local artists, art demonstrations, food, wine, and music.  There will be a variety of art on display, including paintings, sculpture, photography and ceramics. One of the artists who will be at Art in the Vineyard is Norma Webb, an oil painter who captures the beauty of Northern California.  Some subjects she frequently paints are vineyards, the golden hills, Mt.
