Sebastopol Center for the Arts Gallery is hosting the 18th annual Art at the Source, which offers the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Sonoma County and discover great art. On June 2–3, 2012 and June 9–10, 2012, artists throughout West Sonoma County will open their studios to the general public for free. With beautiful scenery, delicious food, and world-class wineries, Art at the Source is the perfect weekend getaway for both tourists and locals.
Art at the source offers an exciting opportunity to interact with artists and view their work since, after the final weekend of Art at the Source, these studios will only be open by appointment. Art at the Source gives participants a chance to watch the artists work, ask questions, and purchase art directly from the artist. Featuring 155 artists in 96 studio locations, the artists work in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpting, pottery, photography, glass, wood, and more. With such variety there is sure to be something for everyone to explore and enjoy.
With so many studios participating in Art at the Source, it is essential to plan a tour. The best way to plan is to visit the preview exhibit at Sebastopol Center for the Arts and pick up a catalog. The catalog lists the different artists and studios participating in Art at the Source and has a map to the studios.
Have relaxing time touring the art studios in beautiful Sonoma County, and trust the Sebastopol, California AIM Mail Center to safely pack and ship any purchases of fine art!
