Presented by the Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester, the West Chester Gallery Walk is held on the first Friday of June and October.  The Gallery Walk offers locals and visitors a fun evening to discover the local art galleries, "one-night-only" art shows, shops and restaurants in downtown West Chester.  An estimated 2,500 people attend the Gallery Walk to stroll through the streets of West Chester and visit over ten art galleries throughout the town. With a wide variety of artwork, participants can expect to see sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, watercolor, acrylics, oil and more.  Both the art enthusiast and the curious observer will enjoy seeing artwork from local, national, and international artists. In addition to visiting the local galleries, participants can also see a variety of one-night art shows.  Local businesses such as banks, restaurants and retail shops host up-and-coming craftsmen, local educational facilities, and hospital art therapy programs so they can display their artwork.
