It’s a spooky day, and a great place for Sacramento, CA locals to get their fright on is the ghost tours in Old Town Sacramento.  Presented by Old Sacramento Living History and the Historic Old Sacramento Foundation, the popular Ghost Tours are held every October. Participants get to walk the streets of Old Sacramento and learn about ghost stories dating all the way back to the Gold Rush era. After the ghost tour, get in some retail therapy by browsing through the dozens of locally-owned shops in Old Town Sacramento.  Shoppers will find unique gifts, souvenirs, candy, treats, accessories and apparel. One place to pick up some unique souvenirs is McGee’s Old Time Photos.  Specializing on old-time style photography, customers get to dress up in costumes from the 19th century and take photos in a historic California gold rush setting.  McGee’s is family friendly, and they offer a wide variety of costume sizes from infant to 4x. If you purchase any photos from McGee’s or other souvenirs in Old Town Sacramento, the Sacramento AIM Mail Center can ship your items via UPS shipping or FedEx shipping.  They can even help you compare shipping rates to find the best rate and service for shipping your souvenirs.
