With hundreds of artists calling Ventura, California home, Downtown Ventura has a thriving artistic culture.  Locals and visitors to Ventura can browse galleries and studios, watch artists work, and participate in many artistic events. The oldest artist’s enclave in Ventura is Art City, a studio and gallery that hosts over 20 professional sculptors.  Sharing facilities and knowledge, these sculptors create everything from beautiful desktop pieces to monumental sculptures and fountains. Accomplished sculptor Paul Lindhard started Art City over 20 years ago, envisioning an environment where sculptors could work together and sell their art.  Today, Art City showcases artwork from both in-house and guest artists who work with a wide variety of stones and sizes. Art City has a wide variety of stone for artists to purchase, and completed works can be viewed in on-site Micro Gallery.  Artists and art lovers will enjoy viewing a variety of exquisite art and relaxing in the friendly, outdoor garden environment.  Those who want to purchase sculptures can check out the variety of completed pieces for sale or commission a piece.
