How can Rocklin, CA locals go shopping and support families going through a difficult situation all at the same time? By shopping at Aly and Izy’s Closet! Aly and Izy’s Closet is a boutique thrift store which sends all proceeds back to a non-profit organization that helps babies in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Aly and Izy’s Closet offers Rocklin locals a variety of new and gently used items for children ages infant through 12 years. Customers will find a variety of clothing, toys, supplies and furniture, like cradles, strollers, high chairs and more. Along with products for children, the boutique also offers maternity clothes and gift items for expectant families.
The Foundation that Aly and Izy’s Closet benefits is The Alyboo & Izybee Foundation (ABIBF), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families who have babies in the NICU in and around the Sacramento area. After their twin girls, Alyssa and Isabella, were born prematurely, Cyndi and Dustin Mitchell decided they wanted to help other families in situations like theirs. One of the main ways the Foundation supports families is by providing an RV on hospital grounds for families to rest and relax in. Other services include providing gift vouchers and care packages. ABIBF also provides the Special Care Nursery with items like hats, booties, blankets, scent dolls, memory boxes and isolette covers. These services are funded through the boutique store in Rocklin and private donations.
