Thanks to Patti Blake, Garden Grove, CA locals have a place to shop where they can purchase unique items and support local charities, all at the same time. Blake dreamed of owning her own boutique, so she opened Blue Moon Boutique, a philanthropic boutique that carries locally made and hard to find products. Along with offering a variety of accessories, home décor, and gifts, Blue Moon works to make a positive difference in the Garden Grove community. Each month, Blue Moon donates a percentage of the proceeds from their sales to a local charity.
The charities Blue Moon supports change every month. Last month (January), Blue Moon supported Veterans First, a non-profit organization that serves homeless and at-risk veterans in Orange County. This month, Blue Moon is donating a percentage of their proceeds to Brain Rehabilitation And Injury Network (B.R.A.I.N.). Located in Cypress, CA, B.R.A.I.N. is a non-profit organization that advocates for and administers help to people and families of people suffering from a brain injury. Their goal is to create a community where those with brain injuries can recover, and provide families with insight and information about brain injury.
