Gayle Rappaport-Weiland is an accomplished artist, art teacher, curator, art juror and on-air personality. She specializes in creating beautiful, impressionistic artwork out of watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. Despite a struggling economy, Gayle continues her artistic work, teaching art classes in the community; serving on the board of directors for CCAS: the Center for Contemporary Arts of Sacramento; and creating new art work. Through her classes, members of the Rocklin, California community can tap into Gayle’s extensive artistic knowledge!
The next class Gayle is teaching in Rocklin is a Watercolor Workshop for beginners. On Saturday, September 15th from 12:00pm—4:30pm, participants will learn about how easy and fun painting with watercolors can be. Beginners don’t need to be intimidated as this workshop is designed for people without painting experience. This workshop is offered through Sierra College - Community Education, so sign up as soon as possible to reserve a spot. Those interested in participating can call (916) 781-6280 or (800) 242-4004 Ext. 6280 or visit www.sccommed.org to sign up. See Gayle’s list of current classes for information about other classes she is scheduled to teach.
