Santa Clarita, California is filled with fun and interesting things to do.  A must-see community is Newhall, the oldest district of Santa Clarita.  Started in 1876, Newhall is one of the most historic communities in the Santa Clarita Valley.   On the first Thursday of every month from 4PM to 8PM, visitors and residents of Santa Clarita can experience an artistic side of Newhall by participating in the First Thursday Art Walk. Held in conjunction with the weekly Farmers’ Market, The First Thursday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour down Main Street in the Arts District of Old Town Newhall. The Art Walk features works by local artists, family friendly activities, and live entertainment.  Local stores on Main Street get involved as well by displaying notable paintings, drawings, and photographs during the Art Walk.  Whether one wants to look at art, purchase art, or participate in art, visitors are sure to have a great time. If you make a purchase at one of the First Thursday Art Walks, AIM MailCenter in Santa Clarita can help safely pack and ship your new items to their final destination.
