Santa Monica, CA is home to the Santa Monica Airport, one of Los Angeles County’s oldest operating airfields.  The Santa Monica Airport has a rich history.  It is the former home of the Douglas Aircraft Company, whose planes completed the first circumnavigation of the world by air in 1924.  The Santa Monica airport is also the birthplace of the Douglas DC-3 airliner which revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Over time, several historic airplane hangers have been converted into creative venues like art studios and theaters.

Moreno Valley, CA (January 26, 2012) – With the New Year underway, many people are getting organized. To help properly dispose of old documents containing personal information, Chuck Steinway, owner of the AIM Mail Center at 23571 Sunnymead Ranch Pkwy Ste 110, is hosting a Free Shredding Day. On February 11, 2012, members of the community are encouraged to bring up to three grocery bags of documents only to his location.
